The key to making money from websites is all to do with how much traffic you can drive to your site. I have made great money from websites in the past but its not a matter of just building a site, whacking a few ads on and bam the money rolls in.

You have to have a good content rich web site that is constantly updated with new and fresh content. You need to promote traffic to that site using many and varied techniques.

Then once you have traffic a very small portion of your traffic will click on your ads.

There are far far easier ways to make money then building and marketing web sites for google ads. If you go to all the effort to get customers to a website you would be silly to send them away for a few cents on a paid advert when you could convert them into a customer of other peoples products using affiliate marketing.

So yes it is possible to earn this but their are 50 more ways to make far more then $400 per week and a lot easier.
