How should I deal with this drama?

First things first, since she is your cousin, you want to keep a close relationship; family is a bond that will last forever if you treat the bond with care and respect. Don't say anything harsh to her, but simply ask her why she lied to you. Make sure you don't get worked up or emotional about the problem; the answer could be something simple like she didn't want you to feel left out. However, if her answer is something along the lines of 'i asked their opinion and they said no' or 'you wouldn't have had any fun with them' ask a follow up question and keep the conversation going until you are satisfied with all of your answers. Remember not to get upset or angry if she says something hurtful, but keep a straight face and a calm voice. The last thing you want here is to upset her or drive her away. She could always start spreading nasty rumors since you go to the same school and are the same age. No one wants that to happen. Personally, I hate drama and try to stay out of it, like you said above, but I like to give my opinion to help sort things out, so I have some experience with things like this. Your cousin sounds like the type that rolls with the party and lives life to the fullest, but never looks back. If this is true (it may be way off), then personally, I wouldn't trust her as much. You should always feel like you can be there for her, but you need to know where to draw the line.

I don't know if this helps, but I hope you get you situation sorted out Smile
