Do you think Larry Trotter's picture with his granddaughter is inappropriate or was it taken the wrong way?

I don't feel comfortable posting the picture. If you'd like to see it try googling Larry Trotter granddaughter and you should get something.

My opinion: I didn't find the picture appropriate for various reasons, but I can't really talk about him too harshly. His granddaughter looked to be about 5 and that's when bath time should be private. If she's not bathing by herself it would probably be best to keep all things like that away from social media. Most of the outrage that I read from people (mostly women) wasn't about a grandfather being in the tub with his granddaughter. It was toward the fact that he's a man and the child is female. To me. That doesn't matter and is completely irrelevant. I was more grossed out seeing a grandparent that close to their grandchild and his explanation for the picture than gender. I can't think of a single person in my family who doesn't remember bathing with their parents as toddlers at least once... whether they're of the same sex (father/son, mother/daughter) or not (father/daughter, mother/son). So for me that's acceptable, because there are and never were any ill-intentions and it also helps save time and money. To see people saying: "No grown man should be in the tub with a female child" was a little off to me. If it's unacceptable for men then why should it be viewed as alright for women? Some of these women were even open about bathing with their kids (or letting their mother bathe with their child) and still professed views that it was perverted for the child's father/grandfather. One person even made the comment that she doesn't allow her daughter's father to change her diaper. What? What kind of person would knowingly have a child by someone they can't trust or they believe will bring harm to their kid? I'm not trying to attack all women and I apologize to anyone who feels that I am, but the things that were truly offensive (ranging from sexist and hypocritical to just plain offensive).
That last sentence should say: the things that were being said were truly out there (ranging from sexist and hypocritical to just plain offensive).

I accidentally deleted parts of the sentence and got lost lol. Sorry for any confusion..
