Have desperate men and the Western media made women delusional about their looks?

I see a sense of entitlement among both genders everyday. I think it's less of a gender issue and more of a generational problem. People have abandoned morals and lost decency and substance. The truth is, who cares what they look like if they have the personality of a rock? There are just as many desperate women as men. And both genders are full of egotistical people. The media definitely doesn't help, but they don't have to choose to buy into it. People like that have completely missed the purpose of life. They believe that there worth is based on how others perceive/react to them. When their inner qualities are what truly matter most. The most important thing, in my opinion, is how God sees you.

In spite of living in an immoral world full of superficial people, a meaningful life is possible.
