How did the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan affect America socially, politcally, and economically?

First and foremost, there has never been a declaration of war debated by the American congress.
So any conflict is both illegal and immoral.
What the US, Britain, Canada, France and Germans did was an open ended and criminal economic driven aggression against militarily weak and decimated nations after sanctions and covert action.
So lets put things into proper focus here. What you hear and see from mainstream corporate driven media such as Fox, CNN and the rest are all owned by the same people who sponsored these "wars" and convinced especially Americans, they were threatened if they didn't support these actions.

Now to answer your questions.
Socially - Of those smart enough to realize this is a sham, they are ostracized by calls of being unpatriotic if not publicly humiliated by those sheeple who are both dumb enough to not know any better, and those smart enough to understand their stocks in weapon manufacturers will pay them large dividends.
Politically- It didn't matter which "party is in the government, especially when they are puppets of major corporations who decide who does what and when. Just like judges who are paid off by organized crime to look the other way, so does politicians who decide the fate of the populations.
Economically- "War" drains the taxpayers social programmes among other things. However, it makes major coin for weapons manufacturers, corporations that rebuild a shattered nations economy and power/water services, and ensures no one will ever go to jail for their actions.
In other words, money talks.
Hope this helps because very few people on this forum realize they are being hoodwinked with outright lies and disinformation.
