the conservatives i know express a desire to help the down trodden quite well. the PAID conservative comentaters never ask critically important questions(that would bring out a different view than that of the liberals). everyone "needs food clothing and shelter". where does color tv, recreational drugs, booze, cigarets, cell phone, potatoe chips spending money, car or any of the rest of it become my responsibility.
