If the Internet/Social Media had existed in the 80s, what wrestlers besides Hogan would be the most popular?

Wow, nobody mentioned non-WWF wrestlers.
The 80's saw a completely different wrestling business. Fans today think the WWF has always been the only (or at least the biggest) promotion. They also think only the WWF wrestlers were popular and famous. That's not even close to the way it was then. There are lots of non-WWF wrestlers who would have been subjects of "internet/social media". Here are some of them: Ric Flair Dusty Rhodes The Four Horsemen Magnum T.A. The Von Erich Brothers The Rock & Roll Express The Midnight Express The Freebirds Jerry Lawler Bill Dundee Jimmy Valiant Tommy Rich Terry Funk Nikita Koloff Eddie Gilbert Ads |
