How do you delete a facebook account?

This is a challenge very little men have undertaken so far. It is perilous and painfull. The delete option is found in the settings menu, but beware, because it is a long process. It takes up to 6 weeks to delete the account, and there are perilous traps and temptations since any login within those 6 weeks stops the deleting of the account.
