The problem with the concept of god is it would have a tremendous ego to want to make itself known, worshipped, and obeyed. That instantly makes it foulable, demanding, and potentially cruel. In most religeons, this is the way man presents their creator. Fear of godly revenge is a huge motivator for humans to control other humans.
