Adwords is when you pay Google to advertise your site. You bid on certain "keywords" and write your own little ad that includes the keyword. You pay them a certain amount for every time someone clicks on one of your ads. Be very careful if you decide to do this. Set limits so that you don't end up spending a lot more on advertising than you planned. You can set the amount you are willing to pay each day. You can try it for a few days and see if you get an increase in sales on your site - if not, try a different keyword.

Adsense is when Google pays you to put other people's ads on your site. Google will give you a percentage of the fee that the advertiser pays them every time a visitor to your site clicks on the Google ad. You are NEVER allowed to click on the ad yourself to try to get extra money. This is a way to earn extra income on your site.

The best way to get visitors/traffic to your site is not to pay for it. It is to build a lot of good quality content to your site so that the search engines (Google) send you the visitors for free. There is more info. on how to do this in the link below.
