What is the google adwords and adsence?

Google AdWords allow you, as an Internet marketer, to advertise your product or service via Google.

Say, you would like to make a research on "coffee beans" in Google. Once you have typed the keyword "coffee beans" and clicked on Search, you will be redirected to a Search Results page. On the right side of the Search Results page you will see “Sponsored Links” related to the keyword “coffee beans”. The owner of websites listed on the Sponsored Links pay Google for advertising their product based on the keyword typed by the Internet user.

If you use AdWords to advertise your product, you will be paying Google for every click that a user makes on the links to your site.

Signing up for an AdWords campaign needs careful planning. Google allows you to set budget limits, providing a daily maximum number of clicks on the ad. This way you won’t overspend for advertising.

Adsense, on the other hand, allows website owners to place advertisements on a different website. Unlike AdWords, Google does not publish ads on the Google home page; instead, it puts up advertisement on a related website.

If you sell coffee beans on the Internet and you enroll in AdSense, Google might display your advertisement on a website that sells coffeemakers. Most likely ,people who visit coffeemaker websites are interested in coffee beans too. So there is a possibility that someone who’s interested in purchasing coffeemakers might also be interested in buying coffee beans from you.

The advertiser will pay Google for every click on the ad published on your site, and Google will share a percentage of the payment with you.

Still, I'd like to say that paying for advertisements seem to be impractical these days, as there are many other advertising options out there which are for free. You can use article marketing, blogging, forum participations, and social networking to promote your website.
