How can I shut off automatic updates on the computer?

Ok, here is what you do
1st go to control panel
2nd go to where it says security center
3rd when you click that you should see an icon that says automatic updates click that
4th a window should come up that has options for updates, select turn off automatic updates then click ok
5th and then you are done
