Questions about the Microsoft surface?

The Surface is a pretty solid device. It isn't slow and is more than adequate for a college student. The device comes with enough apps installed to handle what most people use a PC for, and the app store is growing every day. Netflix, Hulu Plus, Google Search (and GMail, Calendar, etc) are also there.

It comes with MS Office Word, Excel, and PowerPoint which will be updated to the full version as one of your first updates once you hook it up to the Internet. That alone makes it worth while for a student with papers to prepare, presentations to make, etc.

The comparison would certainly not be Surface or Galaxy 10.1. It would be Surface VS Ultra book or something. I personally prefer Surface. BTW... get it with the touch keyboard if you are going to be typing a lot.
