Time for you to get involved in things other than him that interest you. Meet other people who are interested in the same things you are interested in. Start building new relationships based on those common interests. You'll find that you miss him less with new people in your life who are sharing your passions.

And, on FB, you can turn down the frequency of how often you see his postings.
