How would the free market take care of a 60 year old woman living alone whose home is being foreclosed?

In this country. Not yours, I can tell you she has very few and limited options.

1. Reverse Mortgage if she meats the criteria 62 years of age.
2. She could refinance and reduce her payment load. Predicated upon her
limited ability to pay or not to pay.
3. She could short sell. Thus giving her an opportunity to get out from underneath
the debt load.

Just some thoughts.
