Hello Charles,
My name is Krishna and I work for the Social Media and Community Team at Dell. If your system was shipped with a wireless card, then you should not have any trouble connecting to a Wireless network. You can check in Device manager to see if your system has a wireless card. For this,

1. Right-click My Computer, and then click Properties.
2. Click Device Manager.
3. In Device Manager, click and expand Network Adapters.

The name of the wireless card should be listed here. If not, you need to purchase one.
