Is she will be my freind again if i apologized to her. ?

Story-
my story starts when i am in 2nd year and i start chating with a girl (she is my classmate) on facebook before the semster starts in holydays.
We become good freinds and shares everything and chating is going in late nights.
I ask her to meet me in college and she agrees. But when college starts i can't make myself to introduce myself to her in faceoff. I tried very hard but i can't .however facebook chating still going on. A few times she asks me why i am running from her but i had always make some excuse. As time passes she stars ignoring me on facebook.but i still message her ,comments on her status updates and then she unfreinds me on facebook and then blocks me such that i can't contact her.
All this happens about one and half year ago .
For what i behaved to her i want to say sorry to her but i am worried about what will be her reaction. Is she stop ignoring me after apologize to her.
