POLL: Do you think One Direction is taking over Justin Bieber?

i love them both, but yeah, seems like it. like i said, i adore both, but lots of girls are leaving justin for 1D, and 1D are getting more and more popular and mobbed a lot, which is what happened with justin at the start of his career (literally every single time he went to an airport there were like a zillion people waiting for him), but nowadays it just seems like he's ignored. according to the fact that he gains a million twitter followers a month, it seems like he should be gaining popularity instead of losing it, but i just don't see it. doesn't make much sense to me.

it's obvious that while justin has a pretty large, dedicated fanbase left, he won't last forever. he'll always hold a special place in my heart (believe it or not, he and his music helped me through some pretty rough times), but i'm less in love with him than i was in 2010-2011. he's changing, and while i don't think he shouldn't be allowed to grow up, a lot of his attitude lately has been turning me off from him. but like i said, i'll always remember him.

it's funny, though. in two years, we might be having this same conversation about one direction and some other new artist. who knows?
