I have never lied and advise you not to either. These days employers are more likely to check you, including your 'social media lifestream'.
If I can choose three words for a good CV they are these: brief; concise; and relevant. It's in your Covering Letter where you can tailor your job application and link to specific details in the enclosed/attached CV. Then at the interview you can open up and show your personality better. Lastly, for online CVs, save your file as a '.pdf'. Not only it looks much better but it stops anyone accessing the document. Hopefully I've helped. PS: Only psychopaths/sociopaths are perfect liars (which means only 1% of their story is actually untrue). |
