My advice, sell the orcs, get your A-levels (That's like a college degree, right? The USA doesn't use the letter-level system) and use a small percentage of that money to buy some self contained strategy board games.
You can have that tabletop strategy goodness without the crippling price tag, plus you can play with more casually geeky, socially well adapted people. A self contained game will not drain the wallet when a new edition is released, expansions are totally optional and you don't have to interact with the sort of person who would spend $600 on tiny metal space elves. Hell, buy Dungeons and Dragons, or a similar tabletop RPG. Way cheaper (you can game for years with $50 worth of RPG supplies) than Warhammer and, by it's design, requires a level of social graces to play. Find the happy medium, get the stuff you like from WH40K and leave all the bad stuff behind. Ads |
