why is todays youth so corrupt?

i think parents spoil their kids too much. usually society tries to make it sound like the youth (my generation) is messed up because media or some other stupid reason but, in my opinion it's mostly parenting. i see how 99% of people around my age act and think to myself "my mom would kill me if i acted half as bad as these people" also, they get everything handed to them, ipods, labtops, cell phones, cars, and what not. but dont work for it or earn it. and this results in a spoiled little brats because of bad parenting
