Hello there.
I myself in LDR.It will take me 23 hours just to reach his place, 13 hours to wait just to meet him on the next day and 3 weeks to wait for stuffs he sent to me. LDR is very challenging because your are million miles away from your partner.Remember, trust and communication are the key to a successful LDR.You can simply say "I love you" but that won't help either if you don't trust your partner. Communication is the heart of this LDR.Communication is the 'kiss' and 'touch' to this LDR.The best thing about LDR is,you get to know your significant other emotionally not physically. You know that he/she wants you, your love and he/she truly accepts your flaws. You know he/she isn't love you for your figure size/beauty or sex. When people said that they broke up because of distance and commitment issue, they're wrong. There are plenty of ways to communicate your partner. E-mails,IMs,Webcams,Mails,Phones,Texts etc are ways to communicate. Like me Everyday I'll drop him a short e-mail,there are times I can't meet him due to working and he'll be at early morning that time so I will ask him to sleep but I'll try my best to communicate with him. We had ups and downs too,I left him twice but then when I think back..I love him very much eventhough I haven't meet him in person. Now that I got the bless and support from my dear family & friends,I assume I'll be seeing him on 2015. Although we're very far away to meet,I never once feel that far from him because he sent me his shirt with his smell and I hug and sniff it until I fall asleep every night. Never think that LDR is hard because even a normal relationship is also hard when you don't have that trust and communication. |
