You were way out of line threatening their families... But as you said, it was 5yrs ago and hopefully you've learned a few things since then. I guess the people you saw gossiping remembered you. Unfortunately, you can't control what people do or say, only your response to them. Pray about your calling, and let God take care of the details. All the best. Smile
