How to stop this attack on my computer!?

Reboot into safe mode, and run a AV scan (Norton?) and see what it does.
Download malwarebytes from malwarebytes.org (free) and run it in safe mode.
Go to http://www.bleepingcomputer.com and search around. Either someone else has had this, or you'll be able to post reports from your computer so that the community there can help.
Oh, and don't fall for that trick again. Even in an email from your friend; until you're sure it came from them.
