What is truth to my dream, or is there none?

Contrary to popular belief (a result of a combination of con-artists wanting to sell books on this subjects and misinterpretations of Freud), dreams cannot be analysed in a linear; ie. x = y, or rather, waves = calm, because a dream is relative to the person having it, and what might be calming for you might be terrifying for another person, such as someone who might have almost drowned, dreaming about a wave.
On another note, your question seems to be more about this guy. (Not to scruple, but your title is extremely misleading and this has more to do with pseudo-psychology rather than philosophy xD) Anyway, if you really like him, go for it, contact him/flirt/whatever, but don't be surprised if a week later, you see him with another pretty girl and the same look in his eyes. In other words, if things work out, great, but prepare for the worst; ie. your heart being broken. Coming back to the dream - DREAMS CANNOT PREDICT THE FUTURE - that is a load of bull. Also, I should also add that considering that he tours a lot... do you have faith in long-distance relationships? That should help you decide on whether or not to go for it. |
