There is a new MBA stream launching in India i.e. MBA in CSR

CSR – Centre of Excellence (CSR – CoE) launching first time in South Asia…
1. MBA in CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility).
2. Advanced Post Graduate Certificate Course in CSR (three months distance learning)
3. CSR – CoE, IICA – Ministry of Corporate Affairs Govt., and SCOPE, Ministry of Heavy Industry and Public Enterprises, Govt. of India are collaborating partners.

New Companies Bill Mandated 2% CSR Spending to Corporates.
Indian Corporate has to spend yearly Rs.27,000 Crores for CSR as per the New Company Law 2012. Of them, 3000 are big and 11000 are medium scale Industries. Corporate India needs Lacks of CSR Professionals to address the need. In India, they have 120 seats for MBA in CSR and 170 assured job
