1) have you restarted your computer?
2) have you run a scan such as Malwarebytes?
3) have you cleared your cache? You can use Ccleaner to clean it.

Frequently it is a cache issue, but sometimes it is spyware or a virus causing the problem.

You can always check http://www.downrightnow.com to see if FB, gmail, twitter, etc. have been reported down. That way you will know if it is just you having the problem. Good luck.
