why does facebook games ask me to down load adobe flash when i already have it?

You might not have an updated version of adobe Flashplayer hence the browser & facebook isn't recognizing it. The Adobe website is good for testing http://get2.adobe.com/flashplayer/ If you see the little animation it means it's working if it doesn't show up then you may need to update the flashplayer or close/open the browser.
