What is the difference between open group, closed group and secret group of Facebook?

secret groups are sort of VIP groups .. its limited and private... people around makes such groups for like people who live in same street, or same school, you need a member friend and admin to get into such group.. you cant see anything in this group unless you are member... you will need link to find such group

closed groups are groups in which you can join with admins permission no friend needed... this can be like community all you need is permission to enter... in this group you can see only member is you are not the part of group... you can only search these group

open groups are kind of fan pages/ add me groups in which you can see anything do anything or even access uploaded stuff even if you are not the member of this group you will find these group in facebook group list or you can simple search these group
