My Bf wants me to post sexy pic in my facebook but I dont like it?

I am now 20 and I have a bf. He is American born Chinese and I am a typical Chinese. He asked me to post some pic with my cleavage as my facebook profile pic. I dont like it and then when I told him that he seems unhappy with it. I am sad because he is unhappy and it affected my mood. He said it is nth wrong to show my cleavage and he doesnt mean he want me to show my whole breasts to others. But I just feel uncomfortable with it because it is shown to the public. But anyway I took a pic with my clevage and then sent to him asking him whether the pic is ok then he said it is fine and then he said if he took the pic for me it will be sexier. I just dont get why he want to show his gf's cleavage and sexy pic to others, I feel very sad because any part of my body is for his eyes only. what should I do now? Is he really love me or he just simply want to show off? He is very nice to me and I can feel that he love me very much. But I just cannot understand him. Is every man with western mind dont think that this is a big deal?
