Why did my instagram account get disabled?

There was this thing going around where if you don't post a picture using Instagram's camera with a filter on it, they disable your account because they want you to use their camera. But you only have to post one picture. Try to log in to your account and see if it works. If it doesn't make a new instagram and the first thing, post a pic using their camera and then log out and try your other account. If that doesn't work, then I don't know what to tell you.
