It's more normal to not have a facebook account than it is to have one. There are over 7 billion people in the world and just over 1 billion use facebook.

The biggest and most common problem with it is that it's an addiction for many people, for that reason alone I'd say if you don't need one (I only have one because it's easy to keep in touch with relatives who live over seas) then don't create one. You're better off without
