There are multitudes of things to consider :
- What you meant as a ridicule, can be perceived as a threat by other people. Have you considered this?
- You are correct that the cyber law may not apply, but the classic "grave threat" can still be applied on online platforms, including social networks.

The best option for now, because he/she has filed a case is to contact someone who is well-versed in law to give you your options. Because law differs from one country to another, and since you don't specify your country, you must seek help from your local lawyers.
