On Instagram, is there a way you can see if someone got a picture from the Internet or if they really took it?

This solution is more for advanced users (and if you REALLY need to know if a picture was taken by someone you follow or not), but if it is necessary here's how to do it:

1. Take a screenshot with the image in clear view
2. Crop the screenshot so only the user's photo is left (using built-in or third-party solution)
3. Email the cropped image to yourself.
4. Download the image from your email.
5. Go to http://www.images.google.com/
6. Open the folder on your computer (most likely the "Downloads" folder unless you saved it elsewhere) that contains the image, then click and drag the image into your web browser. Google should let you drag and drop the image into the search bar, starting the search.
7. Once Google has searched the web, look at the sources of the results that match the image you searched. If it comes from a source other than Instagram-related websites, chances are the user is trying to pass it off as their own.

I know this is a long process, but if you really need to check whether or not someone took a picture they post to Instagram, this is the fastest way I can think of.
