Cancer Male - Is he mad at me?

Me and this guy have been talking for almost 2 weeks now. It's not long, but we've had some really good conversations and we both like each other now.
Yesterday, he got pissed off about something so he tweeted about and so I sent him a Direct Message (Private messaging on Twitter) and asked him what's wrong and if he needs me, I'm always there and he ignored that. I didn't mind because he was really angry so I gave him time to cool down. Then he came back and again, tweeted about how pissed off he was and so I sent him an extremely long message giving him advice and telling him that life's tough but he can do anything and not to let anyone being him down and stuff like that. And he never replied. It's normal because as I said, he was really upset about it, even through today. But he eventually got over it and half an hour ago, he tweeted some friends and he was in a good mood but he continued to ignore me.
Was it because I gave him advice? Cuz most guys don't like that but I couldn't help it. I always give advice, it's just in my nature.
But now I think he's mad at me and I don't know why
Could it be any of his "Cancer" traits? What can I do? Please help.
