If you do that the entire party becomes out of touch with the rest of America.
What makes a party like the Democrats have so much power? They keep in touch with several single issue groups like Feminists, Gays, Liberals, Environ-nutjobs, Poor folk, etc They also attract people when the liberal media works to get a reaction Anger works in the Democrat's favor, thus winning them seats If the Republicans decide to cut and run from its Evangelicals There wouldn't be such strong support anymore Social conservatives would form their own third party, splintering the old GOP GOP needs some of its agenda to be passed so they keep the Christians around to be in power |
