Scam emails sent from my act on 25 Jan. I then changed password. But now I can't get email?
Scam emails entitled "Sad Story" were sent from my account on 25 Jan to all my contacts and Yahoo groups, asking for $2500, on the pretext that I had sent the mail and I was stuck overseas in Manila.
I logged into my account and changed the password immediately after.
I noticed that there has been no further emails ever since. I tested by sending an email from my other emails into this account, but as expected, the mail did not come in.
Note that I can now access my account, but new emails are not coming in. Has Yahoo blocked my emails? Or is the scammer still conducting activities using my account, unknown to me, hence preventing normal operation of my email?
How can I find out?
Is there some way to restore my email so I can continue to send and receive?
