Friends on my timeline!?

The 9 friends are randomly picked from your list of friends. If the same guy is appearing in the same position of the tab, then I can say that is nothing but a coincidence. I don't think it has ever happened to me, but if the same guy is appearing in the same place still, it must be a bug. Try refreshing your page a few times, hopefully that friend will not be there anymore. Otherwise, it must be a feature Facebook has added in which possibly none of us know about. You could also try re-adding the guy on your friends list, as the guy would no longer be your friend and therefore will not appear on the tab. After that, add the guy again and see if it fixed the bug.
