Jerk doesn't even begin to describe him. You need to dump him and fast. I had a relationship that was like this, and it ended up turning abusive. You deserve a lot better than someone dictating your every move and criticizing you all the time. Get out while you can. Believe, me it's only going to get worse. You'll never please him because you're not the problem, he is. Plus the line of exes is a bad sign. But better to join them now than later =) Seriously, this guy sounds dangerous.
