You Probably Previously Registered a Account Under your Old Email Address you Can Delete the Old One to Do That

Log Out And Log Into The Old Account and Than Go Here

https://www.facebook.com/help/delete_account

Once you Click on Delete my Account Do Not Login for 14 Days and it will Be Deleted

If you Forgot your Password To That Account Hit Forgot Password than put in your Email Address Facebook Will Send you a Password Reset link to that Email Go to that Email Click on the Link Reset your Password than Go to the Link Above
