I have 39 friends on Facebook, does that seem more realistic than my friends 439+ people on their list?

Yes, and my advice - keep it that way! I have 3,408 friends on Facebook, and its really annoying because I can't see my REAL friends' posts. Back in the day (at least where I live) it was cool to have alot of friends on Facebook, and be Facebook famous in a way. Now its just a nuisance.
