Should I delete these types of people on Facebook?

I deactivated my account temporarily because I am unsure what to do in this situation...
First off, I should start by saying that I added people from high school where some of them are starting to piss me off. It's bad enough they never accepted me as part of their group and I was never socially acceptable by them. But I am doing HSC (Higher School Certificate) right now and I feel as though I have no need to talk to them. I was wondering that If I delete those people from my account, will my friends who are friends of those people start asking me why I deleted them?

To be honest, I don't care if I end up deleting all of those morons because they treat me like this and my so called "friends" seem as if they support them over me. High school is so crap, I believe. People sought each other out individually based on their credentials... It's sickening.

Anyways, back to the question. Should I delete people on my Facebook who comment smart ass comments on my posts? For example, I posted a photo about an guide I wrote which didn't take me long and this dickhead posted a smart ass comment about how "I wasted valuable study time". In the context of what he wrote, it sounded really mean (It was written differently to this ^ I just don't want the guy to find this question on Yahoo). The worst part is that, I got only 2 likes for the post where as this guy got about 6 likes and it was all from those fucked up people in my high school... Should I delete them all?
