I'm having the same issues and have also tried reinstalling both apps and toggling the privacy settings. I think theres an error with Instagram. My friend doesn't get the "login failed" notification, but her photos don't successfully post to facebook from instagram. Just wanted to let you know that you are not alone. Hopefully they can fix this soon.
