why doesnt facebook have the game petville anymore?

Facebook didn't delete the game, Zynga the games creator spent to much time taking money from users and not enough time maintaining and developing a user base that would invest more in the company in the future. As a result of poor decisions they are now losing money and staff at an alarming rate and so had to kill any assets that weren't providing a great deal of profit, Petville was one of these games.
