You have to get your neck out there either way. Keep in mind girls, especially at that age, can be a bit ruthless and or confused. What might seem like her friends stopping you could really be them doing her a favor, as in she's not interested. I'm not saying that is the case but be prepared for such a scenario.
Getting a conversation with a girl is much like being a salesman. You have to open open-book questions, no yes/no responses. Do not say, "do you like this weather?" But say, "what do you think of the weather?" The second triggers a response where one must engage in conversation to some degree. Don't use this strategy over the Internet, it simply won't work. In my opinion in person is the absolute best way to approach someone. But, if you insist on using the Internet for whatever reasons, if specifically Facebook here is what I suggest: first make your profile public(if that's okay with you), make as much available short of risking yourself into some sort of danger. Then, you message her. You can send a friend request at the same time, if you choose not to insert something into your message suggesting you would like to further communications and she should friend you. Try to relate to a previous encounter, ask if she's interested in going to an upcoming school even, ask about classes(if you must). The first thing she will do is read the message; if she hasn't already made up her mind about you she will then creep your Facebook page(see what we did there, what a brilliant trap). If you're lucky she will respond and if even more lucky request a friend add. Anyway, through my vast knowledge of women, LOL ... who really understands them, that is what I suggest. Good luck to you! |
