Does this boy like me? Or is he just been friendly?

He is such a lovely funny boy, he talks to me quite often, we also have a bit of banter when he winks and calls me names and we give each other evils, always smiles at me in corridoors or says hi or waves. He makes an effort to talk to me or say hi everyday at school. He asks to borrow my stuff and have some of my drink. He touches me like puts his hands on my shoulders and puts his arm around me. He always asks if i'm okay and when i'm sad he always tries to cheer me up. The other day he even asked me to sit next to him cause he's bored of sat with who he is sat with. In the past week he has made so much effort more than ever before and its make me feel quite good i added him on facebook and he accepted and then on twitter he retweeted my tweet on the same night! I also favourited his tweet about going into town and he direct messaged me on twitter saying we could go together but we didnt end up going cause it was to late and we was gonna go on a dog walk together but we didnt. Every lesson he either talks to me/smiles at me/ waves at me at least one thing everyday if not more yesterday i lent him a pen and his friend was like can i borrow your pen and he was like not its not mine its katies and his friend was like no its not and he said it is i swear on her life and he was telling the truth, what does that mean? He also told me he had never ever lied to him and i know i havent lied to him and i feel like i can trust him so much and can tell him anything! however he seems to text loads of ther girls and i dont know if i'm his type? how can i make him notice ne?Sorry its so long but i really want to know what all this stuff means, please try and answer everything especially the part about him swearing on my life when telling the truth! i don't know if to go for it or not?! How do i know he does really like me?! He texts loads of girls but doenst really inbox me! What can i do or say to make him notice me more?! Also what about him swearing on my life when he was
Thank you soo much for your help! Much appreicated! He is friendly with other girls but he doesnt do all the stuff to them what he does to me?! Today we had a proper long conversation about loads of stuff and he even was asking about my family! Tomorrow i am in all his lessons so i will try and make converstaion and get him to notice me more! Today i even caught him staring at me and it has happened before! I will watch out and see what he is like with other girls and what different! It's my birthday in a couple of weeks so i'm gonna mention that and see what he says!
