Somehow, I'm not buying this story. You want us to believe that your father is this brilliant researcher who has many books published, yet he has fallen into the FB trap? Sorry...with all the trivial BS I see on FB, I can't imagine anyone with the brain you claim your father has to be enthralled by it.

But, if you do have a father who is addicted to FB, you should talk to him and tell him your concerns. You can also suggest therapy for his addiction.
