Why is it taking so long for facebook profile pictures to load on my phone?

Whenever I want to look at Facebook profile picture it takes forever to load everything else on it is really fast except the profile pictures at first I thought it was because my phone is too slow but my friend told me that my phone is one of the fastest that there is which is the Samsung Galaxy s4 plus I also have high speed internet everything else on the phone is really fast like if I want to answer that internet its really fast and even if I want to go on Facebook it's really fast and accepts loading the profile pictures can anyone please help me out
