Is it legal to save pictures and messages off Facebook or the Internet?

It's not illegal, if it's on the internet and you can see it then there's nothing anyone will be able to do about it. There is no way you could get any charges. It's like, for example, when people have conversations over facebook messenger it can be screenshot and used for investigations if it was to say something bad or about a crime. Anything on the internet is pretty much up for use UNLESS is had copyright (like another person writing if you were going to try to call it your own [like poems, stories, NOT facebook posts]). That's what sucks about the internet, once it's there it's there. You can delete it but chances are someone still saw it.
