Yes, there are many ways. Do you have a FB profile?
You can suggest that your friends link your page.
You can also promote your fan page via email, so anyone in your email contacts will be sent a link to like you on FB.
The best way is to provide good information to the people you are looking to attract. When you post something valuable on your fanpage, share it in groups that may appreciate that information.
I frequently will comment on other fan pages (very popular ones) from my fan page, then as people interact with that thread they may click on your post and be lead back to your fan page.
